Marissol is a model better known as Miss São Paulo, and she is passionate about fashion. She is a fashionista who aims to become a reference for women who celebrate fashion and all that it entails.
She is reaching out to all women who like fashion, who like to look good, and above all, to feel safe and confident. She wants to represent entrepreneurial and empowered women who manifest the beauty they carry inside on the outside.
Since she was a little girl, Marissol used to look up to the supermodel Gisele Bundchen, and draw inspiration from her. She also loved the beauty pageants, and now she is a proud owner of over 10 sashes from different competitions. She enjoys doing photo and video shoots and be on the catwalk. She says it’s a true pleasure for her.
In her spare time Marissol loves to travel. “Whether it’s for pleasure or for work, it gives her a chance to discover different cultures and inspires me to connect with new people and experiences”, shares the model.
According to Marissol, the biggest obstacle she faced in her career was at the very beginning when she tried to push the door to the beauty world open and didn’t give up after hearing another «no». “There are lots of fraudulent agencies that try to play with your dreams, so navigating through this community is not easy at all”, she warns.
Marissol believes that you must be strong and have a clear goal to move forward. Whether with roses or thorns in your hand, you must keep chasing your dream and fight for it. What we desire from the bottom of our hearts comes to us. You just need to have faith!
One day, the model hopes to have a TV show in the United States and work on a movie in Hollywood. Her ambition is to be remembered as an icon of fashion, strength, and perseverance.
Fashion is her passion and her profession, but she also has a human side, and her heart aches for the less fortunate. For years, she has been working as a volunteer with different institutions to help low-income people both in Brazil and Mexico. And now, she is looking for opportunities to help other countries. She hopes more people will join the good cause in the future.
