The beautiful and graceful Regina de la Vega Diaz was born and raised in Barcelona, where she studied fashion design, and has been living in Madrid for several years now, where she moved to get her master’s degree and to realize her social and working activities in this city. This graceful, delightful, inquisitive and creative girl is in demand as a model and stylist. Which role inspire you more design or modeling and why?
I don’t think I could choose, I love them and they contribute to me in a different way. In my case I think I enjoy them and they coexist in a linear way simply because for me they are different even though they belong to the fashion sector. Regarding the design, it is the option that I had clear since I was young and I decided to study, I really enjoyed the process, the university and the internships. Later it was when I moved to Madrid to continue studying Marketing and Communication specialized in the fashion and luxury sector, and the reality was that the master occupied most of my time where I could not have a full-time job, so I suppose that doing castings, working by the hour, in a showroom on days of specific campaigns or editorials was my easiest option to work, organize myself and because I already belonged to a sector where I was surrounded by a wide variety of professions within the world of fashion, among They had many model friends who could advise me, recommend and help me move through the sector. So I could say that my training as a designer was a conscious choice, instead my jobs in the fashion world happened by chance and organizational circumstances while I was still training in the fashion sector.

Which character traits do you appreciate in people and which one do not?
Although it may seem that I belong to a more superficial world such as fashion, I really feel that the last years of my life I have had a process of personal growth regarding what and who I am, and what is the type of values that I want to surround me as friends, family and partner. I consider myself a person with a particularly sensitive and natural personality, which is why I highly value empathy, loyalty, generosity and discipline. The set of all this gives me a feeling of confidence and stability, for which I am sure your mental health and inner peace are appreciated when you are able to give and receive these values.

You are fan of watches. Name three brands of watches you particularly like.
Whether due to the merit of their craftsmanship, their history or their astronomical prices, some brands command more respect than others. Although Audemars Piguet and Richard Mille belong to the top 5 of the best brands on the market due to a set of factors such as high-quality materials, refined movements, the stamp of Swiss craftsmanship, a long and almost impossible waiting list accompanied by unsuitable prices. for all pockets. However, my 3 favorites for their style and elegance in the following order are: Patek Philippe, Rolex and Cartier, of course with first-class movements and finishes under the trust of Swiss craftsmanship and knowledge. About 4 years ago I became passionate about watchmaking in all its senses, in terms of design, movements, marketing… I think it is full of elegance and precision. I will never forget what my first watch was, a Rolex, I set out that I would get a well-valued retail model in the market, so it took me about a year to establish good social relationships with a well-known Spanish jewelry store that would help me achieve it relatively fast, I couldn’t be more proud and satisfied.

Do you like animals? Which ones?
I love them, especially most mammals, whether domestic or not. Right now I have a puppy and although it takes a lot of time to spend with him, the unconditional love and loyalty he provides is truly rewarding. I think they have an instinct, empathy and ability to interact with the human being in some cases really nice. In addition, interaction with animals in general has physical and psychological benefits. They reduce blood pressure, relax, level the heart rate, so on a psychological level this translates as a feeling of well-being, and stress reduction when we share moments with them.

Which countries have you been fascinated by? What is it?
I always say that my ideal environment for a long vacation is warm temperatures, sea and jungle. Possibly Vietnam in 2018 has been one of my favorite destinations, we were a group of 15 friends, all super well organized of course since there are so many people. We stayed for about 10 days (I think we lacked some time) and we were traveling through the different cities and islands by plane, boat and bus. We never spent more than 2 nights in the same place, so hardly every day we were on the move getting to know or changing places, we were in Ho Chi Minh, Ninh Binh, we sailed through Halong Bay where it is said that the movie Avatar is inspired , we flew to the island of Phu Quoc etc. I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and live short periods of time in other countries, but I remember this trip with special fondness since the combination of being such a large and fun group, a distant and exotic place, visiting numerous spots made the trip was really dynamic and complete.
