Participant in beauty contests, holder of the titles Missis Top Beauty International, Grand-Prix Top Model World, and the Gold Medal of V.M. Zaitsev for achievements in fashion, beauty, and art. Professional model, participant in shows of Russian, Iranian, and North Korean designers.

Julia, what prompted you to change your profession? First, you worked as a geography teacher, then as an accountant, and later you blossomed brightly in modeling…
I always wanted to teach children. As a student at the Pedagogical Institute, I enjoyed working in a kindergarten. With the onset of perestroika, teachers stopped receiving their salaries, so I had to master a new profession – accounting, which provided a stable income.

I came into modeling recently. After meeting my future husband, who supported me in all my endeavors, I felt a huge potential and desire to develop, so I completed training at Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Zaitsev’s modeling school.

What valuable things has modeling brought into your life? What personal achievements in it, and victories in beauty contests are you especially proud of?
Modeling has brought a sense of femininity, elegance, and beauty into my life. It is very pleasant to showcase the creations of outstanding designers to a wide audience. I am proud of every public appearance, whether it’s a contest or a show. I really enjoy the approving reaction of the audience to my appearance.

For you, the most beautiful age of a woman is…
…the age that is yet to come!

What are your sources of attractiveness, strength, and energy?
The main source is a positive attitude towards everything in the surrounding world.

Perhaps half of your hobbies are active, so-called “male” activities. How did your love for them arise?
All interests – diving and skiing, sailing and boxing, precision shooting and hunting – are shared in our family. I enjoy never lagging behind my husband and sometimes even surpassing him. His understanding and support are very important to me.

Your personal life philosophy, possibly a life credo?
Life is short. Live today and now! Do good, and the world around you will respond in kind.
