Mila Piercecchi is more than a beauty queen — she’s a force redefining the modern standard of influence. As Miss USA 2025 and Miss Star International, she balances elegance with impact, leading a movement rooted in purpose, diversity, and transformation. With grace and candour, Mila shares the deeper meaning behind her titles, the power of resilience, and the legacy she’s determined to build.

Mila, you are Miss USA 2025 and Miss Star International. What does it mean to you to carry these titles, and what mission do you associate with them? What stereotypes about beauty pageants would you like to break once and for all?

Carrying the title of Miss USA 2025 — and now Miss Star International — is both an immense honour and a profound responsibility. Representing the United States, one of the most influential nations globally, places me on a world stage with a voice that extends far beyond national borders. For me, these titles are not just crowns — they are missions. They represent a platform for transformation: to lead critical conversations, open doors for others, and set new standards for what it means to be a modern woman in leadership. I am deeply committed to breaking the outdated stereotype that pageantry is solely about physical beauty. Today’s titleholders are CEOs, activists, and thought leaders. We are not defined by our appearance, but by our purpose — and the power with which we carry it.

Your business has already surpassed the $1 million mark. Tell us how it all started and what became the key to your success. What challenges did you face along the way — and how did they change you?

It began with a bold vision and no safety net. I launched my business driven by a conviction that storytelling, branding, and digital empowerment could not only reshape industries but also change lives. Reaching the $1 million milestone wasn’t just about revenue — it was about proving that passion, when guided by strategy, can be converted into real power. The most significant challenges weren’t financial, but emotional. I had to learn to trust my instincts, own my voice, and rebuild myself in the wake of rejection. Each setback was a mirror, revealing where I still needed to grow. And time and again, I chose growth.

Manhattan is one of the most competitive cities in the world. How has it shaped your personality and career path?

Manhattan is not merely a city — it is the capital of ambition. Every street pulses with intensity, every block is a cultural intersection, and every moment demands your best. Living and building a career here is like training at high altitude: you either rise, or you learn to redefine your own ceiling. This city has sharpened my instincts, accelerated my evolution, and taught me to walk into any room with confidence — even if I’m the only one who believes I belong there. Manhattan has shaped me into a woman who can lead in boardrooms, inspire from stages, and command a runway. Because if you can make it here, you’re not just prepared to face the world — you’re prepared to lead it.

You are a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity on your Instagram platform. What have you already been able to achieve through your work in this area?

I’ve used my platform to amplify stories that often go untold — stories of transformation, identity, and becoming. I’ve created a space where people from all walks of life feel seen, not merely observed. Through carefully curated campaigns, authentic partnerships, and meaningful daily content, I’ve elevated voices that challenge the status quo. But my greatest pride lies not in analytics, but in the messages I receive — the quiet DMs that say, “Because of you, I believe I can.” That, to me, is impact.

What inspires you every day to keep pushing forward and raising the bar? What legacy do you hope to leave behind — as a woman, a leader, and a public figure?

What grounds me is remembering where I came from — and the woman I had to become to get here. Every sacrifice, every moment of doubt, every hard-earned victory has laid the foundation I now stand on. What propels me forward is the belief that true success means opening doors for others. Yes, I’ve built a platform, but now my mission is to wield it with intention. I want to uplift silenced voices, challenge outdated systems, and pave the way for others to rise. For me, legacy isn’t about personal achievement — it’s about using beauty, business, and influence to ignite meaningful, lasting change. Not just within the industry, but in the lives of those who are still quietly watching, hoping someone will show them it’s possible.
