What does authenticity in fashion mean to you, and how do you reflect it in your daily life?
Authenticity in fashion is about staying true to who you are, even when trends are constantly changing. For me, it means choosing pieces that resonate with my identity, not just with what is “in fashion.” In my daily life, I reflect it by mixing classic pieces with unique elements that speak to my story, my roots, or my mood. Fashion is my way of expressing myself without the need for words.
Do you think self-care is just about aesthetics, or is it also a form of emotional health?
It’s definitely both. Taking care of yourself on the outside is a way of honouring yourself on the inside. When you dedicate time, even if it’s just to apply your favourite cream or wear something that makes you feel good, you’re sending yourself a message of self-love. Self-care is as much an emotional routine as it is a physical one, and it has a direct impact on how we feel and how we face the world.
If you had to describe the experience of travelling to a destination like Mexico in one word, what would it be and why?
Vibrant. Because Mexico has a unique energy: its colours, its culture, its food, its people… everything vibrates with life, passion, and history. Every corner has a soul, and every experience there stays with you in a profound way.
In your perspective, what role does fashion play in women’s empowerment?
Fashion can be a powerful tool for women’s empowerment because it allows us to present ourselves to the world as we decide to be, not as we are expected to be. Dressing with confidence and with purpose is a way of taking control over our image and our narrative. It’s not only about what we wear, but how we wear it and what that says about us.
What has been the most inspiring place you’ve been to, and what did you learn from that experience?
One of the most inspiring places I’ve been to is South Korea. I was fascinated by how they combine the traditional with the modern in such a harmonious way. From ancient temples to the cutting-edge streets of Seoul, everything conveys a very strong identity. I learned that it’s possible to innovate without losing your roots, and that also inspires me in fashion: to mix the new with the classic, to not be afraid of experimenting, but always from an authentic place.
